Open Call: 12th International Congress of Law in the Portuguese-Speaking World

The submission period is now open for papers to be presented at the 12th International Congress of Law in the Portuguese-Speaking World, devoted to “Ethics in Justice”, to be held in Brasília from 27 to 30 April 2026.

Organised by the Superior Military Court of Brazil in partnership with the Research Network on Lusophone Law (REDIL), the Congress will serve as a meeting point for scholars and practitioners across the Portuguese-Speaking world.

This 12th Congress invites a broad reflection on ethics within systems of justice, drawing together legal, social, political and cultural perspectives. Contributions will be articulated through six Thematic Groups, spanning constitutional to military justice, and encompassing civil, criminal, labour and tax law, as well as emerging ethical challenges.
